And when we say project, we mean it. This isn’t the final phase. Not even close. But we invite you to be a part of the journey, and experience the magic that made Jessica and Christopher take a leap of faith on a gorgeous piece of land with a crazy, quirky, makes no sense in any logical kind of way house.
Stand in the front room, peer through the giant picture window (it’s new by the way, the old one was held together by scotch tape – no joke) and see the endless valley, the mountains, and wait for the sunset to greet you, and put you at peace. Sure, the house smells a little like an old book at Grandma’s house. It’s old. They do that. The cows that pasture right outside the master bedroom window might give a little moo around 5pm, but it’s a friendly moo. And sometimes the wind blows just right and lets you know the cows are there, even when you cant see them.
But honestly, that’s part of the charm. The Elgin Project has an off grid feel, with on grid convenience. Brand new high end mattresses, linens, Starlink internet, a full kitchen and 4 acres of quiet solitude. Take a drink of your Southern Arizona wine every time a car drives by, and it might take you two days to finish a bottle. Did we mention that there are 8 wineries and 2 distilleries on our road, within 4 miles of the driveway? That’s not including the other half dozen wineries just a few miles further. Award winning Rune, impressive beyond belief Los Milics, pizza truck in the courtyard Dos Cabezas. All within a few minutes drive.
And when you’re rested, zenned out, and slightly hungover, sign the guest book and let us know what should be the next part of the project. Hot tub? Fire pit? Pickleball court in the garage? Bird watching stand? We are here for you.
